greeting folks,
it has been another long time since i posted anything on this site, but i doubt anybody still follows since this blog is drying up for some time now.

happy new year by the way, January 2010 went by in a flash and i was still writing '09 in the dates at some point. anyway i found some time to have dinner with Marcus yesterday at Ippudo SG. Ippudo SG newly opened at the also newly opened Mandarin Gallery. Japan's ramen king comes to singapore, of course i have to try it. :D slurps. the queue was long but the wait was worth it, so straight to the point;

we had those yummy pork buns, really tiny but delicious.

i had the white bowl, shiromaru ramen. ($15)

and Marcus had the red bowl, akamaru ramen. ($15)

overall, the ramen was good. (Y) i thought the akamaru ramen was better but its really up to personal preference. the restaurant is a little cramped and with the long waiting queue, you may have to share tables with strangers but i'm sure nobody would mind as long there's good food and a hungry stomach.
